INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup raw wildflower honey
1/2 cup water
5 sprigs fresh sage
4 cups frozen pineapple
2 oz. lime juice
4 oz. vodka
1 1/2 cups ice
DIRECTIONS
1. Make the sage honey syrup:
• Combine wildflower honey, water and sage sprigs in a saucepan.
• Heat on medium high heat until mixture comes to a bubble, then reduce to medium and simmer for 15 minutes.
• Remove from heat and cool for 30 minutes.
• Remove and discard the sage sprigs.
2. Make the cocktail:
• Blend the frozen pineapple, vodka, lime juice and 1/4 cup prepared honey syrup on smoothie setting or until well blended.
3. Serve immediately and garnish with a toasted sage leaf.
