INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/8 cup caramel honey
1/4 tsp. sea salt
3 1/2 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
(Serve with apple slices or warm churros)
DIRECTIONS
1. Use medium heat to cook the sugar until it starts to melt. (approx. 5 min.)
2. Once the sugar starts melting stir constantly until smooth and completely dissolved.
3. Add cream slowly and sparingly to minimize bubbling. Stir constantly while adding cream.
4. Add the caramel infused honey and sea salt.
5. Reduce heat to medium low and continue for 5 additional minutes.
6. Turn off the heat and stir in butter and vanilla thoroughly.
7. Serve warm.
